The masquerade Ball

After the big Vogue masquerade ball even Grazia hosted a similar party and with the upcoming Halloween it's time to grab the opportunity to play with fashion and mystere and wear a mask!

French Vogue masquerade ball


French Vogue organized a masquerade ball in celebration of its 90th anniversary. The ball took place at Karl Lagerfeld’s Parisian apartment and the theme was Eyes Wide Shut.Wow i thought, i find it fantastic, it sounds like a ball at the Versailles court! Above you see Anna Dello Russo (currently the Editor At Large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan) getting ready for the event. Her mask was way the most eccentric and elegant of the evening in my opinion. I would love to have the chance to wear such an incredible dress at least once and this picture shot in her Ritz suite is just the perfect set for the outfit(Anna dello russo blog here). She's wearing a custom designed for her gown by Pucci and the elm is by Gareth Pugh. Her inspiration for this outfit is Lady Gaga.Perfect! Have a look at other guests outfits:
