Does Royalty make any difference?

Seeing these two ladies pictured together i was hit by the natural elegance of the princess Victoria. Her dress is discreet with a classic black and white contrast. Her smile is sweet, the make up is basic and the hairdo is a ponytail. Next to her, Carla Bruni playing the role of the first lady dressed with a anonymous grey outfit and botoxed face. After the excesses of the past, for these institutional events i think she dress up to camouflage herself with the environment. These outfits have no character or elegance.They are all grey and hide her body, look at those trousers,too wide. The princess feels at her ease,does royalty make any difference?
