War Chest

Here's what i got from my latest shopping spree.
As you can see i'm toning down the colors of my wardrobe from flashy to neutral.
I got a pair of flats with embedded "necklace" that gives a fancy look to a simple shoe. They're perfect for those lazy days spent walking on the seaside or visiting a museum. And once back from the seaside i can step on the classic pair of peeptoes with the sparkly bow and head to the theater. I love them because the crystals are really shiny!
So the last bits of discounted sales put a big smile on my face.
I bought two pairs of shoes, so what about the third pair? Yes, they are my latest shoe diy project and yes they're inspired by the super elegant Valentino studded shoes but i'll tell you all about the making tomorrow.

I'm in love with these shoes.Only Valentino maison can make so classy a pair of shoes with studs decorations.They're perfect in every color combination even the all pink one you see above.Another interesting thing is the return of the pointy toe,yes those shoes that hate the pinky toes but we'll wear them anyway.These deserve to be diyed.

Adoro queste scarpe.Solo Valentino poteva rendere eleganti un paio d scarpe decorate con le borchie.Sono perfette in ogni combinazione di colori anche queste tutte rosa qui sopra.Altra cosa interessante è il ritorno delle scarpe a punta,si quelle che odiano i mignoli dei nostri piedi ma tanto le indosseremo lo stesso.

A painful truth:comfortable shoes are ugly

I admit.I'm going to infringe one of the fashion commandments:never go out without heels.
But what can we do if our ankles are screaming?
Can't punish them every day so, we can whisper within us:sometimes we need flats!
But here's the painful truth:most of the time confortable winter shoes are ugly!
Finding a pair that don't let you turn up your nose is a struggle.
In winter you're feet in flats will make you look alternatively like

Legolas the elf of Lord of Rings,

Puss in Boots the master cat

the witch of the west

the sheep guardian

or a man

So i'm having hard times finding a pair of stylish confortable ankles,let's write down some rules to avoid ugliness.

1. almost flats:wedges can save your life, they give you some height without compromising your ankle
2. low block heel will give you stability and comfort

to give some character to flats consider one of these:

1. choose color
2. choose buckles
3. choose studs
4. choose laser cuts openwork

Your ankles will thank you,stay stylish and stay tuned ;)

Lo ammetto sto per violare uno dei comandamenti della moda:non uscire mai di casa senza tacchi.
Cosa possiamo fare se le nostre caviglie sono doloranti?
Non possiamo punirle tutti i giorni, quindi tra noi lo possiamo dire:delle volte abbiamo solo bisogno di scarpe basse,non ci sono piediluvi che tengano!
Ma ecco la brutta notizia:spesso le scarpe invernali sono brutte!! Trovarne un paio che non vi faccia storcere il naso è una fatica!
D'inverno le scarpe basse ci fanno apparire alternativamente come (foto sopra):

1. Legolas l'efo del signore degli anelli
2. il gatto con gli stivali
3. la strega dell'ovest del mago di oz
4. il guardiano delle pecore
5. o un uomo

Difficile trovare un paio di scarpe basse alla moda, buttiamo giù qualche regola per evitare la bruttezza:

1. quasi basse:le zeppe possono essere davvero un salva vita, ci donano un po' d'altezza senza rinunciare al comfort
2. tacco basso quadrato, stabilità e comfort

per scegliere scarpe basse con un po' di carattere invece:

1. sceglietele colorate
2. sceglietele con borchie
3. sceglietele con fibbie
4. sceglietele traforate
