Painted leather

How cool is this jacket? The Picasso painting Guernica is so right for a leather piece,so rock!
Looking at the style of the jacket (oversized, with shoulders down) it could be a vintage piece maybe from the 80s but i can't be sure.
This pic make me want to try to diy this jacket!
And what about her hair?Never thought someone could be so cool in this electric blue!

DIY inspiration:Rework that trench

burberry studded coat

Although the classical trench is definitely a wardrobe must have, for someone classic may mean boring.Burberry Prorsum fills the gap between tradition and modernity.
The mac had been destructured, sewn with leather or heavily studded.
Studs are a very good way to give character to a piece of clothing.
You can start adding some studs to a shirt collar.
If you're more advanced in sewing or just brave you can try the melting of two jackets to obtain your own version of the trencher.

DIY inspiration: Crochet &metal chains

Alice&Olivia

The unexpected mix between hardware and reassuring tradition, metallic chains and crochet.
As you can see chains can be incorporated in a crochet top to make see throught spots and rows or you can crochet the border of a chain (one side or both) to make necklaces, bag handles or belts.
To make a Chanel inspired chain you can crochet one side in pale pink, the other in black.
Metal chains rock but you can use plastic chains too.

An unusual DIY

http://media.topshop.com/wcsstore/TopShop/images/catalog/21O34YMUL_large.jpg

I was browsing Topshop and i've found this. Definitely an extreme DIY and, let me say it, a little bit weird! Maybe he won't be loquacious but i bet he won''t complain if you buy another pair of shoes :D
Maybe this is the reason why it's sold out!
