Cut out overknee DIY

The inspiration

the making

These days i've been thinking on the use of tulle to give structure to a fabric.
What i've done here is a pair over-knee boots-leggings.
The use of tulle allow to cut off pieces of fabric and obtain unexpected graphical effects.
These overknee can be paired with colored tights or flashy leggings.
I could sew them on an existing pair of ankle boots but i left them without the feet so i'll be able to experiment them with open toe shoes too.
I've used a suede like fabric, stiffened it,cut it and then i've sewn on the back side a stiff tulle white fabric with silver thread.
What do you think of the result?

A fil rouge connects Paris fashion week shows or in this case a fil bleu because blue and black continue to make their appereance in every runway.
There's a lot of leather too.
Designers have dressed a really aggressive woman.
An even thinner catwoman walks toward next winter on skyhigh platforms.

Un fil rouge connette gli show della settimana della moda parigina o in questo caso un filo blu visto che il blu e il nero continuano a fare la loro comparsa in tutte le passerelle.
Gli stilisti hanno vestito una donna molto aggressiva.
