Glitter shoes are an irresistible fashion DIY, it's easy to do and the result is awesome. Please raise the hand everyone who has glittered his shoes this year. Nobody can ignore a pair of sparkly feet and as the Paolo Nutini song says "I put some new shoes on and suddently everything's right", we all want new shoes. Is there anything better than free shopping in your closet?
Today DIY is about Valentine's day shoes. Grab your pair of black pumps, a brush, glue (diyer best friend) and a pot of glitters.
- Dip the brush into the glue
- Draw an heart shape on the back of your heels with the brush (trace the shape with chalk to be accurate)
- Fill the shape with glue
- pour the glitters
- Let it dry
- spray a sealant on your hearts

- versateci sopra i glitter
- lasciate asciugare
- spruzzate un fissante

DIY heart details to wear on Valentine's day
STAMP IT
Valentine's day is close, are you planning to wear something to celebrate love?
Here some DIY ideas for you.
Did you know that you can cut out a heart shape out of a potato and obtain a fab stamping tool? You'll just have to dip it into the fabric paint and decorate your clothes with it very quickly.
CUT IT OUT
Cut out heart shape with scissors to make an unusual top. The black one you see above is covered with a layer of lace mesh fabric. If you want to make one similar see how to create an insert with mesh fabric. Here's a little idea for the table, you can also cut out an heart shape out of an apple.

Valentine's Day Wedding-Empire State Building
I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day. Here is what some lucky couple got the chance to do.
It’s an annual tradition for couples to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day atop the Empire State Building in New York City. The event is sponsored by TheKnot.com which held an online contest late last year selecting the very best love story submissions. In all, 14 couples won the opportunity and one of them was Lindenhurst, New York firefighters Sarah Carpino and George Callahan.
Enjoy the video!

Happy Valentine's Day | Super cute last minute I LOVE YOU gift | Marshmallow on a String
Ok, so I died a little when I saw these super cute marshmallow "I Love you's" on a string! They are great for dunking in a nice cup of cocoa. If you are a bit of a procrastinator, like me ;) these are so easy to whip up even I can do it ;) I don't usually go for any DIY projects but this one is so sweet!
what to do:
Take a piece of baker's twine about 8 to 10 inches long. Thread the tapestry needle. Make a double or triple knot in one end of the twine and snip off the excess.
Grease the needle with shortening (I use Crisco).
Thread the twine through a marshmallow. Pull the marshmallow until the knot hits the base of the marshmallow (don't pull too hard or you'll pull the knot through the marshmallow). Pull the needle off the twine.
Cut out two hearts from the paper and glue, staple or tape at the end of the twine.
If desired, draw a message on the marshmallow with the edible writers. Dunk in hot cocoa (be warned, edible ink will run in funny ways when the marshmallow hits the cocoa) and discard string when marshmallow dissolves.
Source: These were originally made up by the talented The Decorated Cookie Blog, but I saw them in the Enchanted Dream Weddings Blog.
Enjoy!

Twittens - It's mittens for lovers :) - Too cute!
So in the spirit of all things lovey dovey and Valentine's, how cute are these mittens?! I mean twittens. They are mittens that allow you to hold hands with your love and still keep warm. I just love them, SOOO cute!
And, the Twitten, mittens and hats are all fair trade and hand made in Peru in by artisans whose work supports and sustains traditional communities with 20% of all profits going to the Bodhi Fund. The Bodhi Fund was created to support New Mexico families whose children are in desperate need of out-of-state cancer treatment. Administered by the New Mexico Community Foundation, the Bodhi Fund provides financial aid to cover mortgage, phone, car, utility and travel expenses at a moment when families are plunged into crisis, both emotionally and financially.
So it makes your heart warm too ;)
