 Since i put my eyes on Dolce&Gabbana spring 2011collection i fell in love with those cute lace dresses. Perfect for summer (worn with a sunkissed skin) the lace dress is a classic in a romantic,chic wardrobe. Spring crochet magazines are filled with patterns to make one of these but crafting one takes time and summer is already here! Lace fabrics can be expensive so a cheap alernative can be to use lace curtains or embroidered tablecloths as fabric. Don't even think to touch your grandma tablecloths embroidered with love (i know that grannies don't do this anymore, they wear miniskirts and botox!),have a look in your local market instead i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

Per l'estate Dolce&Gabbana hanno declinato il vestito in pizzo in tante romantiche versioni. Perfetto per la stagione estiva, indossato sulla pelle dorata, il vestito in pizzo è un classico. Le riviste di uncinetto sono piene di schemi e proposte ma realizzarne uno richiede tempo e l'estate è già qui! Le stoffe di pizzo possono essere costose e una alternativa meno costosa possono essere tende in pizzo e le tovaglie ricamate usate come stoffa. Per carità non tagliate le tovaglie della nonna ricamate a mano con amore (lo so che oggi le nonne indossano minigonne e botox),cercate invece nei mercati locali,sono sicura che troverete quello che cercate.

Emma Watson si diverte a mescolare il guardaroba femminile con quello maschile. Gli shorts in pizzo,romantici e femminili mettono in evidenza le gambe e vengono sdrammatizzati dal blazer abbinato con la cravatta maschile. Poche donne riescono ad indossare una cravatta senza apparire fuori luogo. Anche se il look androgino non è per tutte c'è ancora qualcosa che possiamo copiare ad Emma: ciò che rende sexy il suo look è il gioco delle lunghezze: il blazer è lungo quasi quanto gli shorts!

After the overwhelming fashion weeks that took us too early to the next winter let's get back to spring trends.I've already mentioned the Burberry Prorsum spring 2011 runway focusing on the surprising new trench mixed with leather in the rework that trench post.
Today it's time to talk about the new aggressive leather jacket they proposed.
A short snakeskin evil number covered with studs in sand or acid green color.
I totally fell in love with those jackets.
This spring the snake skin leather and prints appear on bags,belts trousers and tops, they all say this animal print is making a come back in our wardrobe.



Vi ho già parlato della sfilata firmata Burberry Prorsum per la primavera 2011 soffermandomi sul nuovo sorprendente trench mixato alla pelle nel post rework that trench.
Oggi vorrei invece parlare della giacca in pelle presentata sempre in quella sfilata:corta e aggressiva in pelle di serpente super borchiata nei colori sabbia o verde acido.
Protagonista è la pelle di serpente un vero must di stagione che ricopre borse,cinte,giacche e pantaloni non vi resta che scegliere.

Orange is one of the colors we're going to wear a lot during coming spring.
Why don't take inspiration from our wardrobe and add a touch of orange in our make up bag?
If at first it may sounds crazy but a few touches of orange are a fantastic way to create a bonne mine in a few seconds.
All you really need is just a bright orange eyeshadow you can use as all over.
After applying foundation use the eyeshadow with a big blush to warm up cheeks and eyes.
To keep the make up natural apply mascara with light hand.
Again using eyeshadow you can hightlight lips mixing the orange pownder with a gloss or a lip balm.
The last pic shows an example of how you can sport the look even if maybe model's skin is a little too pale for the color.
If you're not shy then skip the natural look and apply the eyeshadow on eyes with fingers on the mobile eyelid defining well the borders ,you'll obtain a pop contrasted look.


L'arancione il colore che prepotentemente invaderà il nostro guardaroba nella primavera alle porte.
Perchè non ispirarsi al guardaroba e tingere di arancione anche il nostro make up?
Anche se state storcendo il naso pochi tocchi di arancione sono l'ideale per un look naturale da costruire in pochi secondi.
Tutto quello di cui avete bisogno è un ombretto arancione brillante da usare come all over.
Dopo aver applicato il fondotinta, illuminate le guancie e gli occhi di arancione con un pennello grande.
Con tocchi leggeri applicate un sottile strato di mascara.
A questo punto utilizzate ancora l'ombretto per tingere le labbra mischiando un po' di polvere arancione con un gloss o il vostro balsamo per le labbra.
Nell'ultima foto potete vedere un esempio di come costruire questo look anche se in questo caso la modella ha una pelle molto chiara ed il risultato è più contrastato.
Non siete timide e amate e volete un make up strong?
Lasciate perdere il pennello largo e stendete l'ombretto sugli occhi con le dita sulla palpebra mobile definendo bene i contorni per uno stile pop!

He gives us unexpected nude views:we can see legs under the mesh striped dress or above the overknee boots that look like trousers.

L'ultima collezione di Pedro Lourenco è costruita di pelle e sul contrasto forte di 2 colori.
I tagli ci offrono suggerimenti per rinnovare il nostro guardaroba. Pantaloni in 2 colori,spalle nude e maniche a metà. Inattesi scorci di pelle si intravedono: le gambe si notano sotto l'abito a strisce trasparenti, oppure al di sopra degli stivali sopra il ginocchio che sembrano pantaloni.

I'm seeking for spring colours and atmosphere. Today i would like to share with you a new DIY project that includes knitting .It's a flared, ruffled skirt.Even if seems complicated it's made with just purl stitch,the ruffle effect is done with a special yarn called Ondas.
You can find it googling ondas knit or ruffle yarn.
At first sight it looks like a normal yarn but when you open it's made of net.
Once it's opened you can start knitting it normally, you just have to insert your needle along the border of the net.
Confused?Don't worry,i found for you a step by step tutorial plus a pattern for a basic scarf.

The skirt is made of 2 pieces sewn together, a front and a back. Every side it's basically a trapezium.

Start with 60 stitches (for a size UK 10,USA 6,euro 38) or 64 (for a size UK 14,USA 10,euro 42)
at the third row start decreasing.
decrease one stitch each side (at start and end)
continue decreasing as shown
decrease 1 stich every 2 rows (twice)
decrease 1 stitch every 4 rows (twice)
decrease 1 stitch every 6 rows(twice)
then continue till the desidered lenght

repeat all for the other side.
Sew the pieces together then sew a wide elastic band at the top.

If all this is confusing then just take a flared skirt from your wardrobe and follow its shape,it will be your pattern or use one of the tons of free patterns i found at this link

Fab leather pieces from Balenciaga Spring 2011.Colored waistcosts.Quilting,zippers and exotic animal leathers!Blue,black and red are the bright colours choosen for spring but that don't make these outifits less boyish or aggressive. Leather has the leading role even in dresses with a leather dogtooth print that looks like a puzzle.
The feminine touch is left to shoes,super high wedges or block heels.
About the ad campain:is it just my feeling or Gisele hair look like a wig?


Giacche in pelle veramente notevoli direttamente dalla collezione di balenciaga per la primavera.Dettagli trapuntati,zip e pelli di animali esotici in colori sgargianti.Nonostante la scelta di un colore primaverile come l'azzurro,che esalta lo smanicato in coccodrillo, questa collezione rimane aggressiva e ci suggerisce un look androgino.
La pelle è assoluta protagonista anche sui vestiti declinata nelle stampe classiche pied de poule.
La femminilità è consegnata alle scarpe, zeppe e tacchi a blocco rigorosamente super alti!
